In the Barbour Collection, I found family of Ebenezer Avery who married Lucy Latham, 16 Jun 1726. Son listed was Ebenezer, born 7 Mar 1732/33. The son of Ebenezer Jr. was Elisha, born 6 Apr 1755. In this area I do not have access to this collection, having seen it while on a trip. I have an Elisha who married Elizabeth Armstrong, some sons born in 1790s, living in Malta, Saratoga Co., NY. His father was supposedly Ebenezer but the family was erronously linked to the Groton Avery family years ago. Can someone untangle this mess for me?
