Hello, Can anyone help me track my g-grandmother Elizabeth Ann AVERY back in time? She (23, spinster) married Thomas SMITH (20, bachelor, miner) on November 27th 1888 in the Parish Church of Longbenton, Northumberland, England, after banns. Her father was Robert Avery, miner; residence at the time of marriage was Gosforth Colliery. I have them in the 1891 census OK (place of birth given as Durham), and have their children later, BUT I can't find Elizabeth Ann's family before the marriage, in the census indexes for Northumberland or Durham. There is no Elizabeth A. Avery of remotely like the right age living in a household whose head is Robert Avery.
