Sharon, I don't really have an answer to you inquiry about information on Oscar Avery/Elizabeth Rogers. But I too had Avery's in Kankakee, IL. - Pilot/Herscher area. Mine were much earlier, mid 1800's, and I was curious if you had any connection to that time frame in that location. My George Avery/Elecia Fleming, settled there from Strongsville, Ohio. His father, Thatcher, left several brothers and sisters in New Hampshire when he pioneered west to Ohio. Just thought that cousins could have joined up generations later in Kankakee, IL.
