I am researching the parents of Catherine Avery. She was born in Leeds Co., Ontariio, Ca. (probably Mallorytown) sometime between 1812 and 1826. Various census have different ages. She married Dustin Ladd in Canetown, Leeds Co. Canada on Sept 13, 1841. They had 4 children in Canada then moved to Alexandria, Jefferson Co., NY about 1849. Three more children were born there. In 1864 she requested a pension (husband killed in CW), at that time she resided in Granby, Oswego Co.,NY. In 1870 she married Christopher Miller and lived in Hannibal, Oswego Co., NY.
