Have been searching for years for father of Jasper Avery, born Saratoga Co.,NY. Moved to Jefferson by 1812. His father supposedly Elisha of the Groton clan. There is no proof of this however. Groton Averys have no record of Elisha. Elisha's wife was Elizabeth Armstrong. Sure would appreciate some help. Marilynn
