    3. Hi all, I found this 'Lost and Found' web site and it had an Avery family bible that can go to a legit. family member if they want it. Read along and see if this is you. If you are a decendant, then he asks that you contact him directly. Good luck Terry Hill _______________________________________________ HAGADORN/AVERY Family Bible I have an old Family Bible that was found in a drawer of a bureau that I purchased at a church Galway, N.Y. The bible is in not too bad shape, but the cover is coming off. I would be happy to give this bible to it's rightful owner or heir(s). The bible does contain information in the center pages regarding marriages, births and deaths as follows; The first page in the center of the book "Certifies that the site of Holy Matrimony was celebrated between Dwight Hagadorn of Stratford and Emma G. Avery of Stratford on December 10th, 1873 at Salisbury Corners, NY, by Rev. Gabriel Reese, Minister of the Gospel. Witness: Margarett Lowry and Filo Styles." The next page is "Marriages" and shows Dwight Hagadorn and Emma G. Avery were married December 10th, 1873 and then includes on the next line Bertha Hagadorn and Edward J. Daley June 29th, 1904. The next page is "Births" and starts Dwight Hagadorn was born March 5th, 1846, Emma G. Avery was born Sept. 30th, 1856, Orvie Hagadorn was born Feby 16, 1881, Bertha F. Hagadorn was born Sept. 26th, 1883, Jay Edgard Daley Hagadorn was born Oct. 7, 1909. The next page is "Deaths" and includes Orvie Hagadorn Died June 13th 1888, Dwight Hagadorn Died Jan 4th, 1913, and Emma G. Hagadorn Died April 29th, 1928. At the bottom of this page in different handwriting is Sarah (Smith) Newman born in London, England July 9th, 1820, Died March 9, 1900, Stratford. Taped to the "Death" page was a newsclipping that stated "Our community was pained to learn that Mrs. Thomas Numan had died, last Saturday morning, after a brief illness brought on by overwork in taking care of her husband, who had been sick for several weeks. Little hope is now entertained for his recovery." I may be contacted at: SlinkysDad@AOL.com Patrick Kelliher
