Just to let you know how the donations to ROOTSWEB were coming. I have received a donation or a note telling me that someone had sent a donation directly to ROOTSWEB from 12 people for a total of $129! I have received many nice letters (only one disagreement letter) from subscribers thanking me for keeping the lists going, but the real thanks goes to Karen & Brian for making it possible for the lists to continue! I could not have kept EIGHT lists going much longer from my computer! AGAIN, a donation is NOT a requirement for being on this list or any other. As I understand it now, several other listowners are also asking for donations. If you have given something in the name of another list, that is GREAT! I do not expect you to donate to EVERY list that you belong to. I am trying to write everyone as I receive a donation from them, to let them know that I did receive their letter, but a few people did not include their e-mail address.
