R.E. Aiken, I'm guessing you might be talking about Ancestry's "Ancestors" tv program that was picked up by many PBS stations across the nation and the Family History Libraries "IGI". I probably should not have jumped in here because many of "Ancestors" programs were scheduled on our genealogy society meeting night and I saw just a few. But thought I'd try and help: First if your talking about the FHL/IGI you can print out the information and take it with you, at least that's been my experience. I don't know your level of genealogy experience or if you are currently using a genealogy computer program? What came to my mind first is pretty basic but here goes - are you looking for a "family group sheet", where you list the father and his vital information, then the mother and hers, child no.1, etc, etc.? This would be a form that you could print off of any computer genealogy program and/or you can purchase (often given out free at some libraries) these for a little bit of nothing at libraries or genealogical societies (cost usually well under $1). William Dollarhide and other authors publish a variety of forms that are also sold in most fairly large size retail book stores. I apologize if I have missed you needs completely or if you are already aware of family group sheets. But they are great guidelines to work off of when doing research, unless your using a lap top, I can't imagine why anyone would work off of anything else. Karen Avery Miller
