    2. Hi Janet Good to see you on the list. Could I get you to email me off list to make sure I have your current e-mail. Does anyone on list have a Mariah Avery who was married to Woodford Clark? I found a lady in the Binghamton NY area descended from them. Jim Avery Dover PA **************Looking for a car that's sporty, fun and fits in your budget? Read reviews on AOL Autos. 3. Thank you so much for the reply. My line is Bolling Green Henery Bascum Avery b. abt. 1803 in North Carolina to Alexander Averyt, Jr. and Elizabeth Vinson. Bolling married Charity Brooks daughter of Jacob Brooks and Sarah Warrington on 12/21/1822 in North Carolina, Johnston County. These two families moved to Gibson County Tennessee by the 1830 census. I am trying to prove the children of Alexander and Elizabeth, especially Bolling. Many on line trees list 11 children to this couple, but I cannot find a will for Alexander and Elizabeth listing heirs only an administrator's document for Alexander Avery in 1846 listing Bolling as the administrator, does not list any heirs. I believe the parents of Alexander Averyt Jr. to be Alexander b. about 1739 and Sarah ? Averyt. I would be most grateful to learn as much as possible about this couple also. You must be connected through my Alexander's sister Sarah who married Ambrose Ingham. Very nice to meet you. Thanks again, looking forward to hearing from you. If I knew more about what you already know I might could help you. I have researched extensively the Averies, Averyts, and the Averas from in and around Johnston and Cumberland counties NC. Each of these three separate lines had Alexanders living about the same time in this area. I do not recall any of the Alexanders of that generation (1700's) having a son named Boling Green Avery, but then my memory is not always reliable. Some of their descendants went to TN of course, as did many others from that part of NC. If your ancestors were in Johnston and/or Cumberland counties NC I can likely help but you need to spell out your line a bit more with dates and locations at least. Know their spouses will also help people, including me, help you. 2. Scott Bill Hirst
    3. Hi! This is being shared with the Avery List as a number of Avery's have tie-ins with the Stanton's of Stonington. While I felt i should attend the Crandall Reunion in my hometown in Ashaway, as I am a CFA http://www.cfa.net Board Member the previous weekend on a Saturday instead of the Avery one, I joined the Avery's the follwing day at a church service, a luncheon afterwards, and a ceremony at the monument at the Avery Hive. An article on the Avery reunion was in both the Norwich Bulletin http://www.norwichbulletin.com and The New London Day http://www.theday.com ,. In searching The Norwich Bulletin site you may want to do a search for Lee Moore. The Day has a nice article on a Wheeler Cemetery also. Below I just shared wirg Connecticut New London web discussion group: We just completed this past weekend The Thomas Stanton Reunion Reunion at the Stanton-Davis Homestead grounds in Stonington, Connecticut. Donald Stanton of West Virginia succeeded Bernard Stanton of Florida as President.Bernard was unable to attend. I am the new Vice President. Questions contact me directly at scottbillhirst@yahoo.com ,. It must be remembered The Thomas Stanton Society and the Stanton-Davis Homestead Museum are separate entities. Fred Burdick is Vice President and Treasurer of the museum and can be contacted at fburdick@comcast.net ,.Fred is also President of the Thomas Minor Society http://www.tmsociety.org and is the Municipal Town Historian of Stonington,Connecticut. The Stanton reunion was coordinated by Fred's wife Evelyn,Fred, and a daughter-in-law. Sharing with my Genealogy List through "Bcc:",.
