They come from the Devonshire area but the whole area including Cornwall is loaded with Averys. You probably need to make a trip if you haven't already. The records over there are incredible. BTW my great grandfather Leonard Eugene Bill's third cousin Dr. Roswell Park , a well known doctor in Buffalo, New York; has a cancer institute in his name in that city. Hi Duane, Have you been able to connect your line with the Groton Avery's? Our ancestor came over around 1640 from Devonshire which is right by Cornwall.
