I compared the Autry's that the state owed money &/or property (http://www.window.state.tx.us or 1-800-654-3463) to the (http:www.rootsweb.com) Social Security Death Index. This is what I found: Bernice L. Autry Owed money/property - Houston, TX Bernice Autry b. March 16, 1903, d. Aug. 31, 1992, SS# 455-09-5804 last residence: Dallas, Dallas county, TX 75225 Mary Autry Owed money/property - Houston, TX b. Nov. 3, 1917, d. Aug. 27, 1996, SS# 454-34-0932 last residence: Torrance, Los Angeles county, CA 90502 Otis Autry Owed money/property - Houston, TX b. Dec. 18, 1910, d. Jan. 17, 1977, SS# 460-01-6320 last residence: Houston, Harris county, TX 77026 Ollie Autery, Denver City, TX and T. K. Autery, Pasadena, TX are owed money &/or property, but weren't found on the SSDI. There are 34 records with the last name Autrey, but I don't have time at the moment to research these.
