Yes, there are many Autry descendents that remain in the East. I am descended from William Page Autry and Drury Autry. My g-g-g-grandfather, John Slocomb Autry, was the child of Mary Autry (Newsom-William-Cornelius) and Daniel Autry, Sr. (Raiford-Drury-Cornelius). Much of my family yet remains in NC. I live in VA.
