Autry any relation to any of the Autrys I have located in Clay Co. AL. I know little........ Benjamin Autry is the father of William Oscar Autry who md Johnnie Alice Murchison. I locate Benjamin in 1860 and 1870 Clay Co. and Wm Oscar in 1880-1920 Clay Co. Wm. Oscar Autry was born either GA or AL abt 1851....HE had several children. Johnnie Alice's mother.......according to family story was a Brown before her marriage........John Murchison was her second husband..........her 4th husband was a Milam....and he and she signed for Johnnie Alice to marry Wm. Oscar. Wm. Oscar's.....parents also had to sign.....they are listed as Benj. O. Autry (at least it looks like an O) and Marthy......census has Martha. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
