Hello everyone; Yes It was the Mexican Army led by General Santa Ana. I appologize with the wrong army. The Christening dress was made by Martha W. Autry for Hal Wyche Greer and it is at the Alamo. If you are interested in locating the letters they are housed at Rice University in Texas. I have copies of them as well. This line is very well documented and I collected quite a bit of them. There are a couple gedcoms floating around out there that has Micajah Autry listed as son of Cornelius Autry. This is wrong. Micajah is the son of Theophilus Autry. Cornelius Autry did have a son named Micajah, but he was born around 1819 (I believe) and he was named for his uncle Micajah. Warmly, Sara Greer
