Jannine: I'm afraid that we do not know from WHERE in Tennessee George Columbus Autry came. That is one of our BIG brick walls. We believe that George's father was Archibald Autry and we do have some like information here. Archibald Autry was in Carroll County, TN in the 1850 census. Based on some land records and 1860 census records, we believe that Archibald moved from TN to AR due a 40 acre federal land patent in 1860.
