    3. Judy; Entering the names of sources is a matter of courtesy, and is also a good policy in that it grants an air of professionalism to ones work. I agree it should be utilized whenever possible. However; this is not the issue. What happened was, I felt, a violation of the Limited Use agreement of this web site. Apparently there's the assumption that your work is unique in that no one will copy your own posted work and re post it as their own. That is what happened in my case and why I initiated this action. So I am really perturbed when I discover my research on some ones web site and listed under the source: NOTES OF with my name. I feel that I come out looking like a fool..... Another time, someone contacted me for information on people that I had never even heard of. When I checked it out, I was listed as a source eleven times on a stranger's web site. At least, he had the courtesy to be embarrassed and remove my name. Well, I'm starting to sound like I am at a gripe session. Think I will concentrate on research and remember that it is all about learning about ancestors. In that process, there will be good and bad experiences. I have come across some wonderful people who have shared their research & knowledge. In turn, I have passed on my research.
