Marshall and Jeanine, we are decendants of the same line.: Cornelius,(the immigrant),; James,married to Susan;his sons Elijah,Fredrick,and Alexander; William A. married to Mary Campbell, ; Elijah Henry married to Mary (Polly) Parrish,;Elijah William married to Mary McCauley ;Thomas Leander(brother to Delbert) married to Lou Baxter; William Ennis married to Marye Alma Tomberlin;, William Ennis Jr.(my Husband-who was born in the same house in Tioga TX as Orvan Gene Autry) married to Ara Juanita Cox;William Ennis III, married to Christine Carpenter, and their children Rachael and Kaitlyn Autry. Fredrick and Elizabeth Hampden had 8 children . I found a lot of the children on roots web. Maybe this will give you a place to start. - Most of the family from William A. down are buried and lived in Cooke co. TX at Tioga and Pilot Point. There is 3 cemeteries full of Autrys there- one is Indian Creek Cemetery outside of Tioga TX Cooke Co. ;one is the Masonic Cemetery in the city limits of Pilot Point <Denton Co. TX and one is Mt Zion Cemetery a mile from Indian Creek Cemetery in Tioga. There is another that I have not visited S.W. of Tioga.. Most of the Carroll Co. TN Autry's migrated to this area of TX and Oklahoma,then on to Plainview,TX and Silverton TX. Orvan Gene Autry's mother is buried in Indian Creek Cemetery as is his brother. He was raised from the age of 12 till grown by Thomas Leander Autry about 1 mile from the Indian Creek Cemetery.
