    2. I like your suggestion of the Attore name. Aftet seeing all the spellings of "Autry", I have often thout it will be some other spelling, if it ever turns up. One of the most interesting variation was reported a few years ago, when someone who was searching records found a name: ALTREE and realized that it was the "Autry" family he was looking for. And, of course, there is always the Otery spelling that always reminds me of my Southern ancestors! So the search goes on. Robert Autry Brooks
