    2. For whatever it's worth, I really don't mind if someone shares info I've passed along as long as it's info about obviously deceased individuals....BUT it is a huge violation to have info about living family distributed & posted everywhere...what a violation! I refuse to give it to anybody that will charge for it also, so I guess there are more of us than I thought. And I have tried to get things removed by other individuals and it is impossible.RE: my 7 yr old grandaughter. Who would have thought? and it is not even on a family web site! 3. I've shared information that I have documented and I given sources and if a secondary source, I have given a page number and often library where found. So I am really perturbed when I discover my research on some ones web site and listed under the source: NOTES OF with my name. I feel that I come out looking like a fool..... Another time, someone contacted me for information on people that I had never even heard of. When I checked it out, I was listed as a source eleven times on a stranger's website. At least, he had the courtesy to be embarrassed and remove my name. Well, I'm starting to sound like I am at a gripe session. Think I will concentrate on research and remember that it is all about learning about ancestors. In that process, there will be good and bad experiences. I have come across some wonderful people who have shared their research & knowledge. In turn, I have passed on my research. Judy
