It came back as undeliverable. That is if you are the same David Autry who was looking for the same grave 2 years ago. I will check out the cemetery you have referenced. I have been looking due to the story i am inserting below told by her granddaughter when she was older so have been looking for a green school near the church and the cemetery. "Grandmother Autry took the measels and Died ans was buried in Cemetary near what were called the Green school House, and a Church near by there. I do not know the name of the Church just can remember seeing Grandmother buried. I were only a bout three years old. then Grand Pa Autry moved back to Ark. near Vanburen and he married a gain to a woman he just called her Cidy - all I remember of her name. they had four children. their names Jackaline. Dorrey. Cidy. Charlie - Autry. I remember visited them once Grandpa Autry I mean When we were on our way to Missouri where we lived two years and then we moved back to Texas." This is the story i have, and why i am looking. I wondered if it was the color green for the school. i have not given up hope but it is getting slimmer. thanks again, Karen

    2. David Autry
    3. Karen - I corresponded w/someone about this about a year or so ago.......cannot for the life of me remember their name. But, that was probably me you tried emailing. My grandfather was born in Yell/Scott Co., Ark....not far from Sebastian where John C. lived. Assuming this was typical of the accent of folks from that part of the Ark., Grain would be pronounced Green, so that is one possible explanation. But, who knows? There may well have been a Green schoolhouse around there at one time. Good luck and let me know if you find her.
