The death and burial of Margaret Ann Mattix Hinds Autry has always been a bit of an unknown, just as has the subsequent marriage of John C to Cynthia Ann Weldon. The Civil War was on and times were not stable. Add to that the usual problem of Texas records and there is a problem. The "Hinds descendants" have always done good work in researching this ancestry and I hope they will be successful. Robert Autry B
