Re these inquiries, I assume that all who are from the Cpt John Autry line are familiar with the original Autry genealogy book by Mahan Blair Autry of Corsicana, TX. He travelled all over the country gathering information. Many of the descendants went to CA and some to Ark and, of course, to TX. His son, Dr. Frank Autry, told me once that he felt he went into every cemetery in the country with his father. Frank, a dentist of Corsicana, is now dead . Blair's book got V Mayo Bundy interested in writing the first Autry/Culbreth book, although he felt that Blair had made some mistakes, especially in confusing Cornelius the Immigrant with Cornelius the son, et al.
