Much of this info agrees with that in the Autry/Culbreth book that Mayo Bundy and I wrote-- but he did most of it based on his prior two books. The children of Newsom Autry info came from Max and Evelyn Autry in Milam , TN who did a good job. Since the book was published, I have learned that "Rev John C Ottery" married Margaret Ann Mattux/Maddox (Hinds) in Green wood, Ark in 1846 and appears in the 1850 census there. I think the name Marg AnnTaylor is a mistake. She died in TX and he married my GGM Cynthia Ann Weldon. All I know of her is in the obituary which is quoted in the book.
