Re: the queries concerning Greenberry Autry: I recall Mayo Bundy mentioning this Autry when we were compiling the book. This was an area with which he was concerned and I do not know more than he entered in the book. As noted on p. 1145 (which is not numbered, I guess because he added it at the last minute) there is no "smoking gun" proof that Jacob is the son of Cornelius the Immigrant. On p 1148, it appears the info came from Everett T Richards; I don't know what Mayo meant by "No V.E." As he notes on p. 1146 et al., the name appears to be Green,Greene, G.B., or Greenberry. I suspect that someone in the GA area will have to unravel this family mystery, if it is possible at all. If I recall correctly, Cousin Mayo felt there may be two Autry's with similar names.
