While I don't know when/if the Autryville reunion will be occurring this year, I do know that there are a couple of reunions listed on the reunions part of the Autry page. Reunions DESCENDANTS OF ELBERT EUGENE AUTREY For over forty years the descendants of Elbert Eugene Autrey have been gathering on the Labor Day Weekend. It has never varied on the date from one year to another. It is ALWAYS the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. It is currently being held at the Maud Gun Club in Maud, Bowie County, Texas. It began with the eleven children of Elbert and Alma (Endsley) Autrey and their children and through the years has included Elbert's and Alma's siblings, including the siblings of Elbert's father's, Robert Martin Autrey's second marriage. It now includes distant cousins from Robert Martin Autrey's father, Absalom and Elizabeth (Norris) Autrey, and even other branches of Autr* clans. It is a casual, bring a dish dinner and spend the day event usually lasting from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Bring family photo's and other family history and share with others.
