This message is for Robert Autry Brooks or to others if they have the answer: On page 6 of The Descendants of Cornelius Autry, Immigrant , two deeds are mentioned related to land transactions between William Autry and Cornelius Autry that are referenced as: Deed Book B, page 392 (1763) Deed Book F, page 432 (1774) The book is vague as to the NC counties where these records are located so I have written both Cumberland County and Sampson County. Both counties' responses were negative as to having a deed book so labelled containing information on Autrys. Previously I have been successful in getting land deeds from Pitt County that are referenced in the book. My question is whether the earlier book might have the same reference and be more specific as to county where these two deeds reside and, if so, can you tell me which county it specifies? I will write Pitt County at this point but in case it is another county that might be properly referenced elsewhere, I thought that I would check with you. Your book has been a tremendous road map in researching my husband's lineage. Thanks, Pat Autry
