Janie, sorry. I know that in 1799 Priscilla Hopkins was in Oconee Co. Ga with Absolem and Alexander Autrey. They were founding members of the Mars Hill Bapt. Ch there. I believe that Elizabeth Autrey married the son of Priscilla, John Hopkins who was killed in the war of 1812.She received land in Alabama due to this and in 1818 Her daughter Nancy Married John Fisher in Marengo Co. Al. Elizabeth and Nancy and John later moved into Perry Co. Al. where they died after 1850 and 1858. I do not have a place of burial for them but do have records of land that they owned. I plan to get back to the courthouse in Marion to check out the area to see if perhaps they might have been buried on their own land. Thanks for your post.
