Their home is still there and is called the Awtrey House. Her father was Palmer Awtrey, her mother was a Greene, direct decendent of Nathaniel Greene. I don't know if this is related to your research or not. It's not much. Somewhere we have info on my Grandmother's family back to I think 1035 in Norway.
