I am related to the John Franklin Awtrey's (my great grandfather) who came from the Greenfield, Oklahoma area. He had lived in Alabama as a child and moved to Texas as a young man with his wife. Then they moved to Oklahoma. We are having a reunion this summer in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The dates are June 23-25, 2000. We all stay at the same hotel so everyone can have lots of fun together. We have a dinner on Friday night where everyone can share photos and memories afterwards. Then on Saturday, everyone explores the area and will get together that evening to go to a western barbeque and show. We try to meet somewhere every year - it's usually in Oklahoma, but some of us live in Colorado now so we're hosting it this year. I'm sure we have relatives out there that I know nothing about.
