Regarding the discussion of Lucinda Autry, thought to have been a wife of John C. According to my research (and that provided to me by others), John C. was the son of William A., who was the son of Elijah Henry, who was the son of James, making John C. the great-grandson of James Autry. In my line, James Autry was also the father of Archibald C. (making him the brother of Elijah Henry), and George Columbus Autry was the son of Archibald, making him the grandson of James. My George Columbus (my great-grandfather) was married to a Loucinda C. Ballinger (b. 1854 in Fayetteville, Arkansas). This is the ONLY Loucinda I have in my database. Earline Long-Zlotkowski Always Remember: Without documentation, genealogy is mythology!
All I can say about this marriage is that Lucinda Autry was dismissed by letter from Mud Creek Baptist Church with John C. Autry in Carroll county, Tn. ----- Original Message ----- From: <EarlineLZ@aol.com> To: <AUTRY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, September 26, 2003 9:00 AM Subject: Re: [AUTRY] 9/25/03 > Regarding the discussion of Lucinda Autry, thought to have been a wife of > John C. > > According to my research (and that provided to me by others), John C. was the > son of William A., who was the son of Elijah Henry, who was the son of James, > making John C. the great-grandson of James Autry. > > In my line, James Autry was also the father of Archibald C.
