Capt.John Autry was the son of Cornelius Autry senior, the immigrant. He was born in1741 and died in 1788 at the hands of Creek Indians in Alabama. Micajah Autry was the son of Theophilus Autry 1770-1834 who was the son of Cornelius Autry Jr 1747-1810 which indicates they were not brothers. Micajah was born 1794 and died in 1836 at the Alamo.
