I can't figure out how to go back further but I did find this much out: I found a tie that is for sure on pages 203 and 204 in the book at http://www.autreyheritage.com/autrybook/page0204.htm My Grand Father is the: Man listed under the second marriage of "William Joseph Autry" To Sarah McMillan "Fred Autry" who is listed as the son of "William Joseph Autry" Which I think makes "William Joseph Autry" my Great Grand Father Which makes "Jacob Brown Autry" my Great Great Grandfather But I don't know who my Great Great Great Grand Father would be? I think this is where either Michijah or Capt John come in though. While I didn't write the Autry book, I do want people to remember that just because you find something in there, it isn't "for sure" unless you document it very carefully yourself. Um... The interesting thing here is Sarah McMillan... My 3-great grandfather John Autry married (also a second wife) Barbara ("Bubby") Rebecca McMillan, widow of James Murphy... and my 2-great grandfather John English Autry was their son. I know of one sister of Barbara Rebecca, Mary McMillan... who married Quincy Bass. Do you know anything of Sarah's siblings or parents? I have Barbara Rebecca and Mary's father's name down as John McMillan, but I really know nothing about him and that is just "gossip" level information.
