    2. Andrea is quite correct. If one waited until all of the information was documented, a book would never get published. Most of the book was from information collected by V. Mayo Bundy over 60 years. He had previously published two Autrey books and a revision. He was past 80 when the book was assembled and died before it was published. I hope we made it clear in the intro that this was material submitted by others, some of whom had died by the time of publication. Even in chapter 4, James A, which I worked on, I found corrections shortly after the book was published and added some of these to the copy that I sent to Andrea to put on the internet. The entire Culbreth/Autry book 1996, can be obtained in copy from Higginson Book Co., Salem, MA. And the book on Capt John Autry by his descendant Mahan Blair Autry can also be obtained from them. I do not have a copy but Cousin Mayo felt there mistakes in it also. Too many Autrey's were named Corneliius, Alexander, John, etc. to keep them straight. And they never stayed long in one place!
