Robin, my great great grandfather, Cornelius Autrey (sometimes Autry), was married in Rutherford County, NC, 9 June 1801, and his marriage was recorded as: Nelus Otry m. Nany (Nancy) Eaves. One of his sons spelled his name Awtrey, and that line has consistently used that spelling. Mildred Yelverton
