    3. Thank you Max this really helps allot now it is all stating to come together: ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ You wrote: Jacob Autry's father is Capt. John Autry who is a brother of Cornelius Autry Jr. of which Micajah Autry is a grandson. ------------------------------------------ My question is: But who was Micajah's Daddy? ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ You also wrote: "Sarah Jane (McMillin) Autry is buried buried in the Humphrey Cem. in Martindale TX." ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ I went to Martindale when I was really young with my Grandmother "Ethel Autry" a number of times when we went to visit from Dallas to San Marcos to lay flowers. "Ethel Autry" (we called her "Mammon" lived in San Marcus at that time my GrandFather Fredrick M. Autry had already passed away and sold the gas station after being bed ridden for a while. Mother says he held me in his arms when I was an infant before passing on to be with The Lord. They have a picture of it somewhere (or did). My Dad married only once and only had two sons myself and my Brother: "Charles Lloyd Autry Jr." (I called him "Bubba") We are both Vietnam era Veterans Me Navy Charles Infantry I now have three sons after remarrying and they have asked me to officially adopt them so that they can have our last name. I AM SO BLESSED. That is why I'm doing this research to hand down to them the legacy they deserve. (they already have the legacy of Jesus Christ and now for the rest) My Dad "Charles Lloyd Autry Sr." and his older brother "Milton" (they called him "Bud") where grocers in South Oak Cliff in Dallas. My Dad died in 1965 of a "Massive Coronary Occlusion". The papers said it was the longest funeral procession Oak Cliff had ever known. He received an honorary salute from the South Oak Cliff Police force. He was a HIGHLY respected man (Methodist) and very much a GIVER. Uncle Bud helped Mother "Veva Nell Martin Autry" (Baptist) sell the stores and we moved to San Antonio to Live with my other Grand Parents T.Y. Martin and Bernice Woodall ----------------------------- ----------------------------- You lastly wrote: " From the research we have conducted, she never remarried. " My Mother "Veva Nell Martin Autry" never remarried either. She loved my Dad *very much* Never even so much has held another man's hand after my Dad went home. Thanks for the help, Rev Robert Lee Autry
