    3. How about that I missed it plan as day. Good point! I should have caught that. Thanks Your insight and correction prompted me so: I just downloaded the original census of the 1900 Caldwell County, Texas from the San Antonio Library I just noticed that everybody on census page was born in 1800 the census taker really goofed it. :0( William Joseph Autry's birthday is written as plain as day as July of 1856 BUT also says that he is 43 yrs old in the very next column and it does say that Addie is 39 But has her birthday as Feb of 1861 Then goes on to list the children which lists my Grandfather on it Fredrick M. Autry Granddad's birthdate is the same as in the book and I have verified and it is correct on other census reports. His date of passing is not shown however in the Autry Book. Perhaps I can do a service by getting some updated information for our line of decedents in the book updates on the web at least. I would suggest that you order the 1860 soundex for Autry in MS and look through the entire group of cards for a child aged 3 or 4 named William, Wm ;or W. You can order it through inter-library loan if your library still has that facility. Some have stopped it due to costs. Our library now charges $5.00 for a census film to be ordered. It costs $3.50 to order a film at a local LDS Family History Center - if you are lucky to be near one.
