Dear Mrs. Molnar: Thank you for your response. I am not sure how I sent something to your husbands email address unless it was through a link that I came across somehow. I have been on the group only a short time and have been conducting some research on my own with the book that is listed there along with searching on the database afforded by the San Antonio Library online. I have come across some interesting finds and allot of great people helping out: So far all I have been able to fully establish however: is what I personally know to be factual and accurate accounts of the census reports I found through SA Library. I have compiled my own book so to speak using word and Adobe Acrobat reader for my own information. I am not a genealogist, or at least didn't think I was until this week. I am conducting my own research because I am not certain the others are accurate as I can not find sources for their finds. I want to be able to compile the data as I have for many years as a Research Scientist, in that I want to be able to back everything up with complete undisputed original data with references. So far the only ones that I can do this with are based on personal knowledge of the census reports. This census method however, only leads me back confidently to my Great Grandfather who I can say without a doubt was "William Joseph Autry" because he lists my grandfather "Fredrick M. Autry". Along with his brother "Joe" "William Joseph" Jr. on a census report for Caldwell County, Texas in 1900. Then in a census in 1920 Guadalupe County, Texas I find listings for: "Fred M." along with my Grand Mother "Ethel" (we called her Mammon) listed again along with his brother "Joe" "William Joseph" Jr. but at a different address (very close by) both as "heads of households" along with all my other Uncles and Aunts who I recognize, my dad not listed yet because he was not born until 1925 as the last child. Then I find: the census report for 1930 for Hays County (San Marcos) which lists "Fred M." and my grandmother "Ethel" as heads of households along with everyone else again except not Fred's Brother who must be back in Guadalupe County still but this time it also lists my dad "Charles L." as being 5 years old and the man I was named after "Robert L." as being 7 years old and then lists My Great Grand Mother on My Grandmother's side "Matilda Vineyard" they called her "Mrs. Vineyard" she went to live with my Grandfather when her husband went to be with our Lord In the 1900 report William Joseph Autry says he was born in July of 1856 in Mississippi and both his father and mother were born in Tennessee. I can't find a census that shows me this in Tenn. Any help locating concrete records concerning my Great Great Grandfather would be appreciated. Thanks, Robert Lee Autry Springtown, Texas
