I have Jacob Brown Autry as being born in 1817 inHardeman County, Tenn. He was married to Mary Embry in 1841 in Tippah County, Miss had no children listed. Jacob Brown was the son of Jacob born 1780 in Wilkes County, Ga. His wife was Elizabeth Cook. He was one of nine(9) children namedWilliam, David, Miles, James, Mary, Thirsey, John and Lemuel. This son William was born Spartanburg County, SC in 1805 and died in 1884 in Grass Valley, Ca. He was married to Sophia Wells and they had no children listed. Hope this might help. Marshall
