Well for now along with what the book says I will be satisfied. Now I want to do some research on Tenn during the time period and see what my people where up against and try to figure out logically why they would move to Texas. Especially Caldwell County So far the only thing I have come up with is that Williams wife was born in Texas Then I want to find out more about Caldwell Country and what it was like for them. The only thing that has bothered me in all of this is it seems we have a history of divorces and EXTREMELY large families with people who were not stable. I just wonder if pride could be the cause of this. It appears that as a result of the tumult there is not anything built long term like "The King Ranch" for instance.
