Patricia , I have a Ephram Born 1792, Married to Margaret with two children: Martha b. abt 1830 and John "Greasy Coat"b. abt 1834. Ephram's father was Hardy Autry b. 1767 N>C> no wife found with two children Ephram and Young. Hardy's father was Capt John Autry b. 1735 and he was a member of the Citizens Patrol that tried to control the indian raids in the area they lived in. In the current Georgia Travel book sent by the dept of Tourism, there is an article about this group and there is a present day group that re-inacts the battles every summer.
