Greetings Autry List - Last week I bought an old photo album for $2.00 at a garage sale in the hope of re-uniting the pictures with family members. There are 24 snapshots in this album that date sometime around 1938, and possibly in the Dallas Texas area. I bought the album in Dallas Texas from someone else who collected euphemera scraps and she said she bought it around the White Rock Lake Area of Dallas. One of the photo's is identified as "taken at White Rock in 38." Here are the Captions and Names in the Album... Book of Bonnie Jo Autry, Received June of 1938. At Gramma's in Christmas of 37 Aunt Thelma and Larry at 6-months Me and Kay Irene and I At Granma's Christmas evening of 37 Aunt Thelma and Larry (Larry is a baby) Jo my little aunt (Jo is a child) Jo and Kay (Jo is a toddler) Sammy my cousin Joy my cousin Mary Beverly Kay at grandmas in 37 (Beverly Kay is a toddler) Jo, Dixie, and Susie taken at White Rock in June 38 Some of the photos are unidentified. In one photo 5 teen age girls are sitting on a bench in what looks like a part of the White Rock Lake area spillway. In another a woman is sitting on a rock fence that has a plaque on it that says "Works Progress Administration 1935-1937." If you are related to this clan, I would be glad to send you this 11x7 album if you will reimburse me for the $2.00 I paid for it plus postage. Melody, If no one else has claimed the photo album etc, I will take it and pay you for it and postage. I will then post it on Autry.com and try to locate the family.
