    3. My ggg grandparents were John Awtrey and Elizabeth Ann Hill. I am trying to find out more information on them. It seems that John was also known as John Baptist Awtrey. Information I have found on him lists him as John A. Awtrey and John Baptist Awtrey, both married to Elizabeth Ann Hill. I have discovered that John was a Reverend. I am assuming that he was a Baptist minister thus the John Baptist. This is only an assumption. Does anyone out there have any information on this family? I would really like to find out more and to know just what his middle name really was. Marlyne marlynen@hotmail.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? 1. Re: [AUTRY] Humfrey Awdry
    2. Robert Recently I took out your book again, just looking. I Was surprised to to see the Wedding announcement for V. Mayo Bundy and read it. The wedding was in the schoolhouse in Kelly where I started to school. I gave me a warm fuzzy feeling because I knew all of the male attendants and some of them are around today. I know many of the women who went to school when he was principal as well. I had just never connected the Mr Bundy that people were so crazy about with the author of this book. Incidently even thought I grew up in Kelly and Elizabethtown I am not related to the Autrys. My husband who come from Alabama is where Sophronia Autry m Enoch Riley. I enjoy the book. 1. Re: [AUTRY] Humfrey Awdry
    2. Another amazing spelling for Awdry!! I think there were at least 40 included in the AFA Bulletine, when it was published, and I don't think it included this one. It reminds me of the note that somone published years ago. He said he was looking in records in the South somewhere and knew there was an ancestor there but could not find him. Then, he realized there were some Aldree families listed! To date, that is the most unusual spelling I have seen. Thanks for the information. It is always interesting. Robert Autry Brooks
