I can't get anywhere going up from my Grandmothers side so I was hoping to go down from his mother but I don't know her name. Was she a West? Any help would be appreciated greatly. If you know if she had siblings and who they were that would really cool too. Thanks for reading...... Lis Clement

Surnames: Willfond, Autry, Richardson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/idB.2ACEB/185.2.2 Message Board Post: My Grandfather was Sidlow Richardson. His mother was Laura Belle Autrey. She was a widow with 2 children and married Walter Willfond. This is what I know about Walter from that point. Walter had 2 children from his previous marriage. I found in a newspaper account that Mrs.(I don't have her name but may be your ancestor)Willfond died in Dec 1908. The newspaper date was the 16th and it said she died last week. I don't even know if it is a match. It said "wife of Walter Wilfont of Monette(AR). That is the area they lived.I have a transcription of the 1920 Craighead Co AR census that shows Walter Willfond, head of household with Laura, wife, and 8 year old son(Jeff) and my grandfather Sidlow as the stepson age 20. My pictures show a rather large, stout man. I never knew where he died, but I have information that Jeff died in Lodi, CA, and Laura died there too. Jeff b. 1912 from the census. If that Mrs. Wilfont(above was his mother that died in 1908, he was wasn't born when she died.) Was Walter married in between that Mrs. Wilfont and my GGM Laura? are you from? Jeff was my Grandfather's step brother and I never had pictures of him, but I did have couple of pictures that I thought were of Walter. I will look for more info. We need to compare pictures to make sure mine is of Walter. My Dad is the one who told me he thought they were of Walter. I thought I had it on CD but I didn't find it just now. I will have to find the actual picture and copy it and send it or mail it. I will stay in touch. My I use regular e-mail to you on that? Donna

Bertha Ellen Beall BerthaElen@aol.com I have received a card from the Higginson Book Co. who are the publishers of the both the books by Dr. Mayo Bundy and the second with Dr. Robert Brooks as co-author.
