    3. Does any software other than FTM load more easily than the others to Ancestry? I am on a Mac and use TNG (on the web), MacFamilyTree 7, and Legacy (on the PC side of my Mac). I am not inclined to add another software to the PC side. 3. Janis, My understanding is that only FTM syncs with Ancestry.com. We had a discussion of this awhile back on the TMG (Master Genealogist) email list. The consensus seemed to be that the only way to have a sync'd tree on FTM while working in another program is to periodically create a gedcom within the main program and import it to FTM. Most of us would not want all of our data online anyway since much may be hypothetical/unconfirmed or private. I was able to get a free copy of FTM last year when upgrading other software (I think it was an offer with Dragon), and at some point will install it and do the limited gedcom to it to sync with Ancestry, but have not gotten around to it, in part because my C drive is rather full of other programs.
