Hi!, I am looking for an elusive Grandfather's birthplace. His name was William Walter Robinson Wilson and his father was Henry O'Brien Wilson and mother Jane Risk. The parents travelled to N.Z and Tasmania but settled later in Australia, the father's occupation was always stated as grazier on any documents such as my grandparent's marriage certificate and children's birth certificates. He was consistent with these particulars but I cannot find where any of the Wilsons or Jane Risk were born. Regards, B. Wilson.
You need to tell us all you know and where you have looked. What time period are we talking about? You say that you cannot find where any of the Wilson's were born but also say you have marriage and birth certificates - where did you get them and what information is in them? It would also help if you told us where you live. From your email address you are in Australia but it is no use telling you to go to, for example, the State Library of Victoria in Melbourne if you live in northern Queensland.
