Hi Listers, I'm new to this list and was wondering if someone could help me or put me on the right track. I'm trying to find the marriage details of GEORGE CLAUDE (also known as Claude George) WINGROVE who married NORA ELLEN SLATTERY at Auckland about 1922. They had two daughters who must have been born in NZ. GLORIA EMILY WINGROVE born about 1923 and DAWN MERL WINGROVE born about 1925. George was the second son of EMILY THORPE and GEORGE WINGROVE born in Sydney in 1894. He died in Brisbane Hospital Australia in 1934 at the age of 40. It appears from his death certificate that he was either seperated or divorced from his wife at the time of his death and I can't find any evidence of his wife or daughters having ever been in Australia. Any advice or help would be much appreciated as I would love to track down this branch of my THORPE tree but I'm not familiar with NZ research or what is available. Many thanks in advance.
