Hi everyone, I joined this list in the hopes of getting some help and guidance in searching for my NZ ancestors. I am searching MEYER, MOORE, BUTLER, and HOWARTH, some of the MEYER family (my direct line) moved to Australia in the 1920's. At the moment I am hoping to fine some info on my BUTLER's. Catherine Margaret BUTLER and Agnes BUTLER arrived in NZ on bord the WAITANGI which arrived in Auckland on the 20/11/1874. (there where also other Butlers on bord but I yet to work out if they are related) Catherine had twin boys in 1875 to Alfred Anthony MEYER, who she married in Auckland on 15/5/1876, They had 12 children one of which was Sydney Royden MEYER (my G Grandfather) I have no idea what happened to Agnes BUTLER and I would love to find out.
