David Porter b. 1831 Foulden and his wife Anne Grey b.1837 in Cornhill near Wooler Migrated to NZ 1877 with their family. They sailed on the Taranaki and landed at Port Chalmers eventually farming near Gore. Their son Andrew Fender Porter later came to Australia and settled in North Qld.
