Gentlepeople, I may have it right this time. I am trying the reply all button Cheers Kathleen Gentlepeople-- Greetings to the New List. I have been trying to track down an Uncle of mine for many years, as has my family. Patrick J. Beattie, left Ireland as an Irish Christian Brother probably around the 1920's. He went originally to Australia---not sure where he worked there---but anyway he left and joined the Merchant Marines and later married an Australian girl, first name Maud ?. As far as the family knew he had at least one son also named Patrick J. Beattie. I hope that this new posing on a new site may prove a clue. Any clue no matter how small and how faint would really be appreciated. I should mention here also that he was born in Belfast, Ireland.
