Interesting little bit of information here for others to keep in mind Fawkner didn't open for burials till 1906, and as I've said I've spoken to Melbourne General today as well and they have no records either of one "DAVID THOMAS" so I'm not able to even say where he could be when you say that his death certificate clearly states that he is buried at "The NEW MELBOURNE" cemetery? I rang the Necropolis and they had no record and referred me to Fawkner. They also have no record and checked all cemeteries and came up with nothing - so where is he??
